Priya Mind & Body
Our Mission & Team
Helping you build steadiness, balance, and presence through breath-led, embodied care.
My name is Stefanee Powell, and I'm the certified practitioner and founder of Priya Mind & Body.
Over 14 years ago, a transformative period in my life led me into the world of holistic healing.
Through my own experiences with emotional and physical challenges, I learned the
importance of presence, nervous system regulation, and listening to my body’s wisdom.
Today, this work allows me to support others in reconnecting with themselves in a
grounded, sustainable way.
Through years of studying and practicing somatic healing, I’ve come to believe that
healing doesn’t mean "fixing" what’s "broken"; it means remembering what’s
always been whole. I created Priya Mind & Body and selected a team that aligns with this
belief, to help each of our clients along their journey into a life of more harmony in their
mind, body and life.
If you’re navigating stress, burnout, physical discomfort, chronic inflammation, trauma, or
simply longing for more peace, you don’t have to do it alone. My team and I offer steady,
intentional support to help you regulate your nervous system, reconnect with your inner
strength, and build a more grounded, sustainable relationship with yourself.
I’m so glad you’re here.

Meet Jake, our LMT #21281
Jake’s path into massage therapy began after being introduced to bodywork while traveling in Guatemala. Upon returning to the U.S., he completed his License at the North Carolina School of Advanced Bodywork in Charlotte, where his training emphasized identifying and treating the specific muscular patterns contributing to pain and dysfunction, rather than focusing solely on relaxation-based massage.
After working in spa settings, Jake recognized a consistent need: clients wanted both deep relaxation and meaningful relief from chronic tension and discomfort. In response, he developed a treatment style that blends intuitive flow with targeted, clinically informed bodywork.
With a highly attuned approach, Jake works to identify the root of discomfort and support the body’s return to balance through intentional touch, breath awareness, clear communication, and personalized take-home practices such as stretching, self-massage, or simple movement exercises. His work supports lasting comfort and a more connected relationship between mind and body.
