My name is Stefanee Powell, and I'm the certified practitioner, space holder,
founder, and owner of Priya Mind & Body.
My journey into holistic healing began over 13 years ago during a deeply
transformative time in my life. Like many, I’ve navigated emotional pain,
trauma, and internal disconnection, but I’ve also discovered the power of
presence, the intelligence of the body, and the beauty of coming home to
yourself.
Through years of studying and practicing yoga, meditation, somatic therapy,
herbalism, sound healing, and trauma-informed reiki, I’ve come to believe this:
healing doesn’t mean fixing what’s broken —it means remembering what’s
always been whole. I started Priya Mind & Body and selected a team of
individuals that align with this belief, to help our clients along their journey into
a life of more harmony.
Whether you're moving through stress, burnout, mental/physical discomfort,
or simply seeking more peace and connection in your daily life, my team and
I are here to walk beside you with compassion, intention, and care. We believe
in the strength you already carry, and we're here to help you access it — to guide
you into deeper emotional stability, nervous system regulation, and sustainable
self-love, remembering that you don't have to do it alone.

Meet Jake, our LMT #21281
After some friends in Guatemala introduced Jake to massage and bodywork, his interest was piqued. Soon after returning to the States, he got certified at North Carolina School of Advanced Bodywork in Charlotte. Swedish massage was only a small part of what they practiced; the main focus was on identifying and treating the specific muscles causing pain and discomfort - often in a clinical way.
While working in spas after graduation, he noticed that most clients expected a Swedish massage, but also wanted relief from specific aches or pains. So, Jake created a unique approach by developing an intuitive flow that promotes deep relaxation while simultaneously addressing problem areas with the targeted bodywork he was originally trained in.
Jake is a master at pinpointing the root of your pain and, through breath, communication, bodywork, and take-home practices (like stretches, self-massage, or exercises), he will guide you back toward balance and comfort in both your mind and body.
