Policies and Procedures
At Priya Mind & Body, we value all aspects of this journey together. In the event that plans change, here is an outline of the policies and procedures for refunds and rescheduling.
Priya Mind & Body Policies & Procedures
1. Client Appointments & Scheduling

All sessions must be booked in advance through Priya Mind and Body, Mind & Body.

Clients are encouraged to arrive on time. Sessions will end at the scheduled time, regardless of late arrival.

Last-minute bookings may be accommodated based on availability but are not guaranteed.
2. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
-
Clients must provide at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.

Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged 50% of the session fee.

No-shows or same-day cancellations will be charged the full session fee.

Exceptions may be made for emergencies at the discretion of Priya Mind & Body.
3. Payment & Refund Policy

Payment is due at the time of booking unless otherwise arranged.

Accepted payment methods: Debit/credit card, PayPal, Apple pay, Venmo, and cash.

Refunds will only be issued for cancellations made at least 24 hours in advance.

Package purchases are refundable or may be transferred to another individual in accordance with the cancellation & refund policy.
4. Confidentiality & Privacy

All client information is kept strictly confidential and will not be shared without written consent, except where required by law.

Client records will be securely stored and accessed only by authorized personnel.
5. Code of Conduct

Clients are expected to treat the practitioner and any staff with respect and professionalism.

Disruptive, inappropriate, or disrespectful behavior will not be tolerated and may result in termination of services.

The practitioner reserves the right to refuse or discontinue services to anyone who violates this policy.
6. Scope of Practice & Disclaimer

Services provided are holistic in nature and do not replace professional medical, psychological, or psychiatric care.

Clients are responsible for consulting a licensed healthcare provider regarding any medical conditions or concerns.

The practitioner does not diagnose, treat, or prescribe for any medical conditions.
7. Health & Safety Guidelines

Clients must disclose any relevant health conditions, injuries, or concerns before their session.

If experiencing illness, contagious conditions, or fever, clients should reschedule their session.

Hygiene and cleanliness are prioritized; clients are encouraged to arrive in clean, comfortable attire.
8. Herbalism & Supplement Guidance (If Applicable)

Any herbal or supplement recommendations are for general wellness support only.

Clients should always consult a healthcare provider before taking any new supplements or herbs.
9. Communication & Boundaries

Business hours for inquiries: Tuesday-Friday 7am - 7pm. Messages received outside of business hours will be responded to on the next business day.

The following boundaries will be maintained regarding personal relationships between practitioner and clients to create a safe, comfortable, and professional environment.

Maintaining professional, client-centered interactions at all times.

Avoiding personal, romantic, or financial relationships beyond the scope of professional services.

Respecting personal space and consent in any hands-on or somatic healing practices.

Ensuring all communication remains professional and appropriate at all times.
10. Changes to Policies

Priya Mind & Body reserves the right to update policies and procedures at any time.

Clients will be notified of any significant changes in advance.
By booking a session, clients acknowledge and agree to abide by these policies.
